SD4000 white

A Star Wars fan who got their hands on a limited edition white version of the just announced Canon SD4000 IS Digital ELPH emailed us these exclusive photos of the camera.

In keeping with the "Stormtrooper" look of the white SD4000 IS, our geeky source has lovingly surrounded the camera with Star Wars figurines. (Judging by the outfits these action figures are wearing, we'd say they're of the "Empire Strikes Back" variety. But that's just a wild guess.)

Canon tells us the white version of the SD4000 IS (which boasts a 10MP, backlit CMOS sensor and an f/2 lens) is a "very limited" edition model and will only have a run of 200 units in North America.

The white SD4000 IS will be available exclusively at the Canon E-store (www.shop.usa.canon.com) at the end of May. May the force be with you!
