Kodak Solar Charger KS100-C+2

Maybe someone's come out with a serious solar battery charger before, but we doubt it's as well designed or as effective as the Kodak Solar Charger KS100-C+2. Don't be deceived by the cuteness of this little charger. With a full solar charge it'll produce enough battery power to capture approximately 200 pictures with a digital camera. It achieves a full charge in about 28 hours in sunlight.

If you're in a place where there isn't enough light to reach a full charge, an included USB cable lets you recharge from a computer or another USB power source. A full USB charge with the KS100-C+2 takes about 14 hours. When it's powered up, the charger can deliver 1.5 charges to a cell phone or run a music player for 33 hours.

No it doesn't shoot high-def video or make mobile phone calls, but powering all your gadgets sure isn't great for the environment and the Kodak Solar Charger KS100-C+2 will help you reduce your electric load.

Cost: $40
