Iomega—who has been working hard to return to its glory days of the Zip drive era—has released an upgrade to their network storage device, the StorCenter. The newest model, priced at $299.99 for 1TB and $480 for the 2TB unit has quite a few advanced features.

For starters, this drive includes Bluetooth support, which enables mobile phone users to back up things like photos and texts right to the device. It also supports Universal Plug and Play and DLNA, making this a great media center device.

Even better, the device works as an iTunes server, allowing for shared use of iTunes libraries on a local network.

There is Gigabit Etherent on the box, as well as dual USB ports, making it extremely accessible.  Built-in Retrospect backup tools make it easy to set up a home network which will backup directly to the StoreCenter.
