LaCie's latest model of its Hard Disk, Design by Neil Poulton, will be first shown at the upcoming NAB Show, being held in Las Vegas, April 11th to 17th.

Ideal for consumer-level storage, the new Hard Disk is a triple interface version consisting of USB 2.0, eSATA and Firewire 400 in capacities of 500 GB—which can store up to 550,000 1-megabyte JPEG  photos, 750 GB and 1 terabyte, at a starting price of $149.99. (A USB-only version is avaiable at a starting price of $109.99.)

The Hard Disk flaunts a sleek design—a black-mirrored finish with a blue LED strip that gives off an ambient glow—that was created exclusively for LaCie by award-winning designer Neil Poulton. It also comes preloaded with LaCie "1-Click" Backup Software for PC and Mcc and the Mac-only SilverKeeper, as well as the LaCie Setup Assistant, a utility that optimizes the drive according to users' needs and automatically copies the user manual and utilities to the computer (Mac, Windows or cross-platform environments).
