I Want My Adobe TVApril 14, 2008 David Schloss, Technology Editor There are countless training books, Web sites and support organizations designed to help out the Adobe program user. And now Adobe has taken training one step further with a new service, Adobe TV (tv.adobe.com) that's designed to provide free training videos to users of their products, with both Adobe-developed and third-party-licensed content. It's an all-in-one location for training information and it's a fantastic, free resource. My favorite videos come from Adobe's Julianne Kost and Russell Brown (the Alton Brown of Photoshop), both of whom know more about Photoshop in their pinkie than I know after a dozen years of using the program. There are also behind-the-scenes videos with the developers, though I'm not sure how much watching someone play disc golf is going to help most users in the long run, but it puts a nice human side to the programs we use so often. |
