Firmware version 1.0.5 for the EOS 40D addresses an incompatibility between Camera Raw 4.2, Lightroom 1.2 and CR2 files shot with v1.0.4 installed in the camera. The update also corrects a file numbering error, fixes photo playback behavior during remote shooting and addresses some minor bugs. Download the firmware here.
